What goes into it
Three materials to understand before choosing: the candle blend, the container and the sleeve. A small pour is recorded as one batch. Materials may need a cure before use. We fold sleeves along the paper grain.
Select an underlined term to read its definition here, then return to the sentence.
Read the material notesMaterial definitions
- Small pour
- A limited quantity poured together using one recorded formula and process. Batch size alone does not describe quality or safety. Return to small pour
- Cure
- The resting period specified for a material after making, before it is ready for its intended use. The required time depends on the verified formula. Return to cure
- Paper grain
- The direction in which most fibers lie in a sheet. Folding along the grain generally makes a cleaner crease. Return to paper grain
