How we work

A room is a set of activities.

Start with what happens there. A book at the window, dinner at the table, an open route to the next room. The sample process joins those daily uses to a furniture layout and layers of light.

Explore the simple beam study below, then see how a brief becomes a room plan. Follow the process

Where does the light fall?

Adjust the beam angle to explore how its footprint intersects three room zones.

What we plan
Before we begin

Bring the room as it is.

Useful materials
Room measurements, daylight photos, existing furniture dimensions and a list of what must stay.
Scope
Sample interior planning service. Electrical specification and installation are separate, subject to the right qualified professional.
Scheduling
Sample hours: Monday–Friday, 9–5. Agree availability, fees and deliverables before starting.
A room note
Fictional oak shelf and bench with grazing light revealing plaster texture
Original generated demonstration space. Fictional project.

Leave a quieter edge.

A room does not need every surface lit equally. A focused task light can make reading comfortable while a quieter wall allows the room to settle. Furniture placement helps keep the route through that contrast clear.

Common questions

Before you send a brief.

Can we keep our existing furniture?

Yes, the sample service begins with a keep list. Include dimensions and clear photos so the layout can work around those pieces.

Does a lighting plan include installation?

No. This demonstration describes room planning. Confirm any electrical design, product suitability and installation with the appropriate qualified professional.

Can you work from a floor plan?

A measured plan is a useful start. Mark doors, windows, outlets and fixed features. Agree whether a site visit or additional measurements are needed before work begins.
