A loose joint.
A closer look.
Furniture repair · sample service detail
Explanatory plan. The correct repair depends on the actual joint, material and condition.
What the first look covers
A wobble may come from a loose joint, a damaged fixing or movement elsewhere in the piece. Clear photos help identify what should be examined, but do not establish a repair method on their own.
The sample scope is small timber furniture. Upholstery, electrical parts and structural building repairs are outside this demonstration service.
Bring the history you know
- When the movement started and how the piece is used.
- Any previous repairs, glue or replacement hardware.
- Loose pieces you have kept, including small fragments.
- The existing finish and whether you want to retain it.
Before work is agreed
The business confirms the proposed approach, any limitations, an estimated schedule and a written price. Additional work should be discussed before it proceeds.

For this sample process, avoid adding glue or sanding before a conversation. Preserving the existing condition helps explain what has happened.
