The event name gets the largest area. Signal color makes a separate field of attention without carrying essential information alone. The date and the invitation remain readable in the type color.
Calculated from the current solid CSS colors. These two text pairs are checked against4.5:1; this is not an audit of an entire brand or printed object.
How the calculation worksHierarchy needs to settle down once a person starts reading. The passage uses a consistent ground and type pair. The signal strip punctuates the end; it never replaces the text’s meaning.
After dark reverses the light/dark relationship. High contrast removes hue from the body pair and keeps a yellow signal. Neither mode changes the words or hides information.
A familiar street can become unfamiliar when you stop trying to get somewhere. The mark above a doorway, a changed shop window, a patch of afternoon light: each asks for a different kind of attention.
Sunday Field Club is an invented walking program for this color study. Its invitation is simple enough to read at a glance; the longer passage gives that invitation room to breathe.

A fictional example: begin by the river, pause at a noticeboard, then finish outside the library. This demonstrates an interface action, not a live event.
Before a real walk, confirm route, access, weather and availability with its organizer.
The interface reverses the body colors to create a distinct region. The action takes the signal color and uses whichever of the two text colors produces the stronger contrast.
The button opens real sample details. Its text and expanded state still identify the action if you cannot distinguish the colors.
Use this environment in a briefReal work-photo slot. The fictional applications above are not evidence of a client commission.
Alt-text field: Sample: Describe the actual color application and useful context.
Supply your own real work photo or permitted project documentation, not stock work or generated client evidence. Obtain photographer, client and identifiable-person permission. Update the image dimensions, alt text and caption accurately.
