changes the reading.
Color is encountered beside other colors, on particular materials and in particular light. A screen value is a useful instruction, not a complete physical result.

Two identical centers.
The center rectangles above use exactly the same CSS value. The surrounding fields differ. Compare the feeling of each center without treating your subjective impression as a color measurement. The displayed values stay fixed while you change the site’s application environment.
On a screen
The colors in the live applications are sRGB CSS values. Device settings, ambient light and display characteristics can affect their appearance. A numerical text-pair calculation is separate from a promise that every screen will look identical.
On paper
A chosen paper, ink process and finish can alter a printed result. Ask for a physical proof on the intended stock. This demonstration does not provide press-ready ink formulas or claim that a screen preview is a print match.
In a place
A painted wall is seen at scale, near other surfaces and under changing light. Make an appropriate physical sample and review it in place. Do not infer durability or safety from a color direction.
