Sample business
Fictional demonstration 022

From first sample
to a clear schedule.

A practical selection sequence. This illustrative process explains the decisions; exact appointments and deliverables should be agreed with your studio.

  1. Bring the room.

Gather a floor plan, approximate dimensions and photographs. Identify what stays, what changes and the decisions that are holding the project up.

Prepare: room images, existing finishes, practical priorities.

  2. Handle the materials.

Compare texture, finish and edges. Discuss the setting, frequency of use, care routine and your budget range before narrowing the selection.

Discuss: appearance, suitability, care and supply.

  3. Test them together.

Arrange physical samples side by side. Check them in the actual room under daylight and the lighting you plan to use.

Check: joins, tonal differences and reflected light.

  4. Record the decisions.

List product names, finish references and open questions. Confirm quantities, technical suitability, lead times and fitting details with the responsible supplier or installer.

Keep: a written schedule and the final approved samples.
