Open
Ends.

An identity for unfinished ideas.

Original fictional concept study. No client relationship, event schedule or commercial outcome is claimed.

The brief
Give an imagined arts week an invitation that feels open, active and easy to recognize across public, held and read formats.
The decision
An open bracket becomes a place for content. Cobalt, warm salmon and generous white space do different work at different scales.

First, the invitation.

The stacked name supplies recognition. The bracket stays visibly open: it suggests that an idea can enter, move or remain unresolved.

Public-facing text takes priority over decorative detail. The invitation sits close to the name; format information stays at the foot.

Plan an identity system

Then, something
you can hold.

On the making-kit sleeve, the same bracket expands into a frame. The package names its contents before delivering the more playful “Leave room.” message.

This is flat authored packaging artwork, not a production dieline. Materials, tolerances, mandatory information and supplier constraints belong in a real packaging brief.

Plan identity and packaging

And room for a longer thought.

The program lowers the volume: a structured opening, a short introduction, space around each paragraph. The bracket becomes a compositional edge rather than a repeated badge.

The system is consistent because it shares decisions, not because every surface looks identical.

Plan identity and editorial
