Watch repair: your questions
Check the details with the shop before you make plans.
Can you change the battery?
Bring the watch for a case and battery assessment. Not every watch uses a battery.
Can you resize a bracelet?
Bring the watch and any spare links. We check the construction and adjustment range.
Do you repair mechanical watches?
Call with a general description. We will explain whether an in-shop assessment or outside specialist is appropriate.
How long does a repair take?
The current estimate is Most small repairs in three to five business days. Parts availability can affect the date.
Is the repair covered by a warranty?
30 days on repair workmanship; normal wear excluded. Ask which work and parts the terms cover.
Will a battery change make my watch water resistant?
Do not assume it will. No water-resistance claim without a separate pressure test. Ask about testing and limits before exposing it to water.
Can you replace a damaged crystal?
We need to check dimensions, case design and parts availability before confirming.
Should I wind a stopped watch?
Call before forcing a crown or winding a watch that feels stuck or has been damaged.
What should I bring to an assessment?
Bring the watch, spare links if relevant and a description of when the problem occurs. Keep purchase documents with you.
