Before tree work begins
Questions about estimates, permissions, hazards, access and cleanup.
How do I arrange an estimate?
Call (800) 555-0197 with the property location and a description of the tree or work. Ask about an assessment visit and any charges.
Can you quote from photos?
Photos may help explain the request, but access, tree condition and surrounding structures often need an on-site assessment.
Do I need a permit?
Requirements vary by property and location. Confirm ownership, permissions and any permit requirements before work is scheduled.
What if a branch is near a power line?
Stay well away and contact the utility. Do not touch the tree, branch or line. Call 911 if there is an immediate emergency.
Can you respond after a storm?
Call to ask about current availability. Keep people away from unstable trees or limbs; no emergency response time is promised here.
Is cleanup included?
Confirm what the quote includes: branches, logs, chips, stump work, hauling and any remaining material. Agree on site access and cleanup expectations.
How does stump grinding work at my property?
Ask about access, underground utilities, the proposed grinding area and depth, and what happens to the grindings. Confirm any utility-location arrangements first.
Do you have credentials or insurance?
Ask the business for current documentation relevant to the proposed work. No certification or insurance claim is supplied by this template.
What should I prepare before the visit?
Keep the work area accessible and discuss parking, gates, pets and nearby property. Do not climb, cut or move damaged limbs yourself.
