Start with the place it will occupy.
A panoramic object has an edge, a scale and a relationship to the space around it. Before choosing a material, record where the object will sit and how someone will encounter it.
Measure the available area. Photograph the setting straight on, with permission. Note what must remain visible, reachable or clear.
Write what you know.
- The purpose and intended setting.
- Accurate dimensions and material limits.
- How the object will be handled or maintained.
- Who approves the study and arranges production.
- The intended date and any dependencies.
Keep the transformation honest.
The Work page rotates original abstract paper artwork as a composition exercise. It labels the angle and preserves the original reference. When replacing the study, use your own related artwork and keep any transformation clear.
