Property management questions

Information about scope, fees, resident requests, reports and transitions.

What properties do you manage?

Call (800) 555-0181 to discuss the property type, location and number of units. Confirm whether the property fits the company’s current service scope.

How are management fees charged?

Request a written proposal explaining recurring fees, leasing charges, maintenance coordination costs and any other charges before signing.

How do residents report maintenance?

Ask the office for the designated request method and urgent-maintenance procedure. This website does not submit requests or provide a resident portal.

What if there is immediate danger?

For immediate danger or a life-threatening emergency, call 911. For urgent property issues, use the building’s designated emergency contact procedure; ordinary email or text may not be monitored continuously.

How are repairs approved?

The management agreement should explain approval limits, vendor selection, access arrangements and how owners receive repair records.

How do prospective residents ask about rentals?

Contact the office about current availability, published application criteria and the application process. This template does not list available homes or accept applications.

What information do owners receive?

Ask about reporting frequency, statements, maintenance records and how to raise questions. Confirm the deliverables in the management agreement.

What happens when management changes?

Discuss notice requirements, records, funds, keys, vendor contacts and resident communication. Confirm transition responsibilities in writing.

Is a license required?

Licensing requirements depend on the state and services performed. Ask about applicable credentials and verify them with the relevant authority. License, where required: 000000 (sample).

Discuss the next step.
