Useful preparation, before the first draft.
A practical guide for an initial conversation and for reading this demonstration.
Bring enough to begin.
- A short explanation of the idea and who it is for
- Any existing notes, copy or reference material
- The constraints that cannot change
- The people responsible for approvals
Unfinished material is useful. Identify what you know, what you assume and what someone else needs to confirm.
Two views, your choice.
The paired reading regions show an offer beside a fictional example. They begin as independent regions. Choose Link lanes to align the corresponding Purpose, Scope and Handover paragraphs while you scroll either region.
Choose Link lanes again to unlink them. Each region accepts keyboard focus and normal arrow or Page Down scrolling. On a small screen the regions stack in reading order. With scripts disabled, all paragraphs remain in ordinary document flow.
Check the facts together.
Before publishing any work, verify dimensions, descriptions, availability and responsibilities against a reliable source. Remove unsupported promises and leave unresolved decisions visible in the working draft.
Only the real business can confirm its identity, permissions and operating details.
