What should I send first?
A short description of the intended use, dimensions, timing and any limitations. Add a small set of references and explain what matters about each.
Can I bring existing samples?
Agree the sample set before sending it. Include material information, handling restrictions and return arrangements. Do not send irreplaceable objects without a written plan.
How are changes handled?
Discuss changes to scope and timing before work continues. Sample: revisions, postponement and cancellation policies.
Materials and care
Keep the manufacturer's guidance with each material. Confirm actual care instructions and suitability before publishing them. Appearance alone cannot establish performance or technical suitability.
Permissions
Confirm permission for any images, text, objects or brand materials you provide. Agree what work may appear publicly, including collaborator credits and photographs.
