One room.
Different ways to gather.
The Field Room is a fictional example of a flexible event space. Use it to ask better questions about the room you are considering.
Read the room
before arranging it.
Start with the parts that cannot move: entrances, permanent fixtures and the venue’s verified requirements. Then discuss where people will sit, stand, eat and move.
- Layout
- Sample: the verified dimensions and an accurate venue plan
- Facilities
- Sample: List only the facilities actually included in hire
- Access
- Sample: Describe verified step-free routes, toilets and any limitations
- Hire scope
- Sample hours: Monday–Friday, 9–5

Questions for a site visit.
- Which areas and equipment are included in the hire?
- What restrictions apply to sound, decoration and outside suppliers?
- Who approves the final layout and verifies access arrangements?
- When can suppliers arrive, and when must everything be cleared?
