When every object moves at once, it becomes difficult to say what changed. Begin with a small arrangement and record it. Then change one plane.
Fold a sheet upright. Notice the edge it creates, the shadow it casts and the part of another object it obscures. These are observations, not promises about what a customer will do.
Make the comparison honest.
Use the same setting, angle and scale. Label both versions. Do not describe the second as an improvement when the purpose has not been agreed.
Prepare a useful brief.
- What is the display or object for?
- Where will it be seen and handled?
- Which pieces and dimensions already exist?
- What access or production limits matter?
- Who approves the arrangement?
A clear record gives the next conversation somewhere to begin.
