Complete text alternatives for the three original cues. No hearing or playback is needed to follow their structure and the proposed session context.

Doorlight
Arrival / 14-second original demo
Four rounded low pulses with generous quiet gaps; the last pulse is slightly higher.
Let the pause have as much room as the tone. These few sounds give attention somewhere to land without asking it to stay fixed.
In the proposed session
Arrival is a chance to ask the host about the room and the sequence before focused listening begins. Conversation can happen here; confirm the actual room’s arrangements.
A brighter foreground tone alternates with quieter lower tones; their tails overlap slightly.
Follow a foreground tone, then notice what remains behind it. Neither layer is a test. Your attention can move between them.
In the proposed session
The proposed focus period invites quieter listening. Ask how to step out, return or change position; no one is required to stay still or justify a practical need.
Three low, slowly decaying tones with longer pauses. The final tone settles lower and fades away.
Stay with the end of a sound until it becomes room again. A pause can be a complete ending, with no explanation required.
In the proposed session
After the sequence, reflection is optional. You can share an observation, ask a question, or leave quietly; this demo does not prescribe a group response.
Authored sine-tone synthesis, smooth attacks and decays, no borrowed recordings or samples. Doorlight has four sparse pulses; Near Field interleaves foreground and lower tones; Aftertone lets three longer tones decay. The illustration of vinyl is a physical listening reference, not the source of the sound.
Adjust playback volume to suit your device and preference. No sound level or room acoustic performance is implied. Audio source and exact parameters are included with this kit.
