Begin with the table.
A useful making space does not need many objects. It needs enough clear room for the material, the tools and the people working with them.
Before a shared session, agree what each participant should bring. Describe the activity and any relevant tool or material requirements plainly. Leave room for questions.
Put the practical details in writing.
- Who is taking part and what is being made?
- Which tools and materials are provided?
- What should participants bring?
- What access and arrival information is verified?
- Who can answer a preparation question?
Keep a small record.
A short reference sheet can hold the sequence of folds or the materials used. It gives the session a useful record without pretending that everyone will make the same object.
